Last minute preparations for Seattle

We had a fun-filled Memorial weekend which included continued birthday celebrations, cookie baking, beach combing and basketball cheering. Now that it is Tuesday morning, it is back to reality. The kids are on the bus and Ryan just left for work and I have started to list of what to bring to the hospital. Benjamin has accepted the fact that he will be in a cast and on crutches/wheelchair and be missing a few things that he is accustomed to participating in. Our family focuses mostly on what you "can do" and not what you "can't". Benjamin has such a great attitude towards being created uniquely. During difficult and challenging times, we know that we are not alone and that we have a wonderful caring community to support us. We are blessed with amazing family, church and school friends that continue to come along side us during this journey called life.
