One of our challenges for the next five weeks will be finding new ways to keep Ben active and entertained at home. Legos are an early favorite. Santa Claus brought Ben a starter set at Christmas and, since his surgery, he has received more Legos from Mom, Dad, Aunt Coleen, and Nana Hodge. Ben has been playing with them every day and has already put together all of the sets himself. We just lay Ben on his tummy on a "wedge" pillow and lay out the instructions on the floor. He is able to pick out all of the parts and put them together with little or no help. Sometimes, he's able to figure out where parts are going to fit in without even looking at the instructions. He's amazing.
But, of course, we already knew that.

ReplyDeleteDear Ben,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have found a fun activity to keep yourself busy. Lego's are amazing little pieces of magic. Have you made a 3 headed dragon with Lego's yet?
Zoe brought me some wonderful little baby toys today for my Granddaughter. My Granddaughter's name is Lexi, or Junebug, which is what I call her, and I know she will be very excited to play with them. You have a wonderful sister, give her a hug for me. Have a wonderful and restful day Ben, God bless you and your family.
