Butterflies in our tummies

When I was cuddling with Benjamin this morning in bed, we had some quiet time by ourselves. When asking if he was ready for surgery tomorrow Benjamin responded by putting his thumb to the side. He explained that this means "sort of". He's looking forward to after surgery eating unlimited popsicles and ice cream. He knows that this is what Zoe (his sister) had after her surgery (tonsils out) in August! :)
We all are having a few butterflies in our tummy lately and can't wait to meet Dad in Seattle after his Grandmother's funeral tonight. We will be checking in the hospital at 7:30am tomorrow.
