Tomorow is the big day!!!

As we prepare for tomorrow's early morning, things are surreal. We all feel like we just need to jump in the freezing cold water like the Winter Challenge, not even knowing if we know how to swim. We have had surgery before but nothing like this. Benjamin is such a trooper. Zoe is so understanding and flexible. We enjoyed a great family afternoon here in Seattle in a hotel (swimming, laughing and reading together). We are supposed to check in at 7:45am and Benjamin's surgery should start around 9am. It is planned for 5 hours at a minimum. It will be a long wait for us. He will have recovery added to that too. I will not update the blog until the evening when possible.
